Marion is an admitted attorney, having practiced with Adams & Adams and Webber Wentzel Attorneys, where she focused on mergers and acquisitions. She is a seasoned legal, risk, compliance and ESG expert.
Marion serves on a variety of boards as a Non-Executive Director, including large JSE-listed entities and serves on several board committees. Marion has more than a decade
of risk and financial services experience, serving among others as a member of credit committees overseeing sizeable credit exposures. She gained experience in credit assessment and credit risk management by spearheading a prominent development loan book in the agriculture industry. She was an active member in the team for the acquisition of a South African bank, focusing on the establishment of risk frameworks, policies, procedures and credit risk structures for the bank.
Marion was named a finalist for the Standard Bank 2016 Top Business- women of the Year award.
