Freddy Magoro
Chief Investment Officer, Creation Capital
Freddy is a Chartered Accountant who joined Creation Capital in 2022 and holds the position of Chief Investment Officer. He is a seasoned debt investment specialist with nearly two decades of experience in the financial services industry, specifically in specialist financing, asset management, finance, and investment banking. He has transacted in South Africa and selected countries across the African continent.
Freddy completed his articles with KPMG in the Financial Services Assurance Division. He then worked for the Sanlam Group as a Debt Structurer in their Sanlam Capital Markets division and later as a Portfolio Manager for a Sanlam Investments-sponsored Africa credit fund. He also held roles as an Investment Banker at Absa Capital and as a Project Specialist at the Development Bank of Southern Africa prior to joining Creation.
Freddy holds a BCom Accounting Honours degree from the University of Johannesburg and is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
