Bennie Schraader
Independent Member of The Investment Committee
Bennie is a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with more than 30 years of corporate credit experience in banking and insurance, holding senior management positions across various sectors. He serves as an independent member of the Investment Committee at Creation Capital.
He studied at the University of Pretoria and has held key financial roles, including Chief Risk Officer and Head of Credit at African Merchant Bank, General Manager of Credit at Rand Merchant Bank (RMB) and Senior Accountant at the South African Reserve Bank.
Bennie also spent six years at two of the Big Four auditing firms before joining Momentum Metropolitan Holdings Ltd in 2006, where he served as Head of Credit Management. At Momentum, he was responsible for direct credit management of a R70 billion liability-driven credit annuity portfolio and a R50 billion client credit portfolio.
